Join local award-winning painter, Diane Overmyer, in this class for artists with painting experience. The course will include four sessions - April 6, 13, 20, and 27.

People who have some experience painting but want to improve their skill will benefit from this class. Students can work in any medium, as most of the principles apply to any medium. The class is geared to adults or teens who are serious about learning, and they will be working from life and photos for both still life painting and landscape painting. Specific concepts will include •Understanding color and value •Creating strong, unusual compositions •Knowing how to direct eye flow •Understanding the importance of Edge work •Technique and personal style
