Nappanee’s Bakery & Treat Shoppe was the very first shoppe to occupy a retail space inside Coppes Commons when it opened over a decade ago. The bakery specializes in making baked goods “the old fashioned way” and strives to keep products fresh and tasty for customers.
Some of their specialty items include pies (shoestring apple, Bob Andy, peanut butter & chocolate among many others), whoopie pies (chocolate, pumpkin, oatmeal, mocha, red velvet, carrot, & chocolate peanut butter to name a few), cinnamon rolls, and wheat bread. They also make a variety of snack mixes, dips & deli salads. Don’t miss the bulk candies, Amish noodles, drink mixes, local honey, Amish peanut butter, and locally-made jellies and jams as well.
The bakery also offers some of the best deals in town when it comes to lunch specials. Enjoy a quick and affordable soup and salad meal Tuesday through Satuday. Choices daily include a varitey of luncheon meats and salads with your choice of cheeses and fresh produce from a local hydroponic farm.
